Gaby Traxler-Romin focuses her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims.  She is involved in all phases of the litigation process.  Gaby’s experience representing injured workers gives her a unique perspective on the defense of claims against her employer clients.

Prior to joining Russell Legal Group, Gaby worked at an AmLaw 200 firm counseling and defending insurers and employer clients, and representing clients in a variety of sectors within the healthcare industry.

During law school, Gaby served as President of the Latino Law Students Association.  Gaby was also actively involved with Loyola’s Health Justice Project, an intensive clinic focusing on the development of skills in interdisciplinary practice to overcome the social, legal, and systemic barriers that prevent long-term health and stability for low-income individuals and families in Chicago.

Gaby is currently serving on the California Young Lawyers Association Executive Committee.  She is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.  Gaby coordinated her prior firm’s participation in the 2019 Food from the Bar campaign, benefiting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

Outside of work, Gaby enjoys exploring L.A.’s kid-friendly spaces with her husband and two young children.  She and her husband are wine enthusiasts, and enjoy visiting the Paso Robles wine region.  Gaby loves to read, and her  favorites include the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings book series.
